The DLC/ODB method retrieves EDR data by connecting the Tesla EDR Tool to the vehicle's DLC port. The tool communicates through the vehicle's network to access the airbag control module and download the crash data.

• Model S with a production date after April 2024
• Model X with a production date after April 2024
• The "refreshed" version of the Model 3
• The "refreshed" version of the Model Y

Please note: even though the Cybertruck has a OBD port, it is currently NOT supported for DLC imaging of EDR data. The Cybertruck is not CAN-based, it is Ethernet-based; therefore, the EDR data in the Cybertruck can only be downloaded using the direct-to-module method.
