Crash Data Group Refunds & Returns

Crash Data Group does not accept returns on purchases made through the Crash Data Group web site or purchase orders. We sell specialty hardware and software for specific purposes. If you are not sure about your purchase, please contact us at crash@crashdatagroup.com PRIOR to submitting your order.

Exceptions:

  • Cancelled Order: If you cancel your order BEFORE the item ships, we can cancel the order. There will be a 5% cancellation fee to cover unrecoverable fees associated with the order.
  • Duplicate Order: If you ordered an item by mistake and it has already shipped, you must notify Crash Data Group at crash@crashdatagroup.com within 14 days of the purchase to qualify for a return. If approved for return, there will be a 20% return and restocking fee and the customer must cover the shipping costs of the item(s) being returned to Crash Data Group. All items must be in its original, unopened package.
  • EDR Software Subscriptions: Once the EDR Software subscription (Bosch, GIT, Hyundai, and/or Kia) has been issued, the Software is non-refundable. Software subscriptions are an electronic subscription management that once issued, cannot be reversed or returned. No exceptions.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at crash@crashdatagroup.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us at crash@crashdatagroup.com within seven (7) business days if the item is defective, damaged or there is a discrepancy, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
