EDR Equipment Rental

Crash Data Group offers certain EDR equipment for short-term rental. The following EDR equipment has been discontinued by Bosch but are still supported by the Bosch CDR Tool. Crash Data Group has a very limited supply of these discontinued parts and are only available to rent. All rentals require a credit card.

In addition to the rental price, there is a $500 refundable deposit for cables and adapters and a $5000 refundable deposit for CDR kits. This required deposit helps ensure the customer returns the cable/adapter/kits on time. If the rented cable/adapter/kit is not returned, the deposit will be forfeited and not refunded. Please be advised, Bosch is no longer producing these cables/adapters/VCIs.

Bosch CDR CANplus DLC Kit for Rental

 

Bosch CDR CANplus DLC Kit: includes: CANplus VCI, DLC cable, USB to Serial adapter cable, power supply, DLC adapters (F00K108709, F00K108784, and DLC3). Entire kit is shipped in a hard shell case.

 Software NOT included, you must have your own CDR software.

About Renting a Cable or Adapter

Rental Price Includes:

  • 21 day use of cable/adapter/kit.
  • Pre-paid return shipping label to Crash Data Group (included inside the box with rental cable)

Rental Price DOES NOT Include but Requires:

  • Outbound shipping. Customer chooses shipping.
  • Refundable deposit based on item rented. The refundable deposit will authorized on the credit card supplied. If returned within the allotted time frame, the authorization will be removed from the credit card. If not returned in the allotted time frame, the refundable deposit will be forfeited and charged to the credit card.

Other Rental Information:

  • Customer pays rental price with a credit card by contacting Crash Data Group; POs are NOT accepted for rentals.
  • Customer agrees to return the rental within 21 days to receive the deposit refund. Customer will use the provided pre-paid shipping label to return the rental (included in the box the rental arrived in).
  • If customer loses or does not return the rented item in the specified time-frame, they will forfeit the deposit.
