Tesla EDR Cable - TIV-145 - 1131145

In-vehicle cable for Tesla Model S (built BEFORE 9/15/16) production date 2012-mid 2016

Tesla Motors recently informed us that the transition for the in-vehicle EDR cable used to image EDR data from the Model S was slowly introduced somewhere in Q4 2015, but not on all cars, as a form of obsolescence mitigation.  Some late 2015 Model S vehicles may require the TIV-145 or TIV-144 cable. The only way to determine which cable to use is by locating the in-vehicle communication harness in the vehicle, and verify which cable connection would fit.
