This DLC adapter must be used when retrieving crash data directly from the DLC/OBD port for various manufacturers. The adapter is EITHER black or yellow in color and is clearly labeled with P/N: F-00K-108-784 , DLC ADAPTER 2.

Notes: Use this adapter only when directed to do so in the Vehicle and Cable Lookup section of the help file. In May 2023, this adapter was changed from a black casing to a yellow casing. This was to make the adapter more visible when attached in the vehicle. The color doesn't matter, they both work exactly the same. IMPORTANT! Be sure to check the part number on the adapter as the DLC Adapter 1 (Adapter ID 709) is also yellow in color.
